DuPage Animal Friends is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 charitable organization. Our mission is to strengthen the DuPage County shelter's lifesaving, compassionate, and innovative initiatives. We partner with the shelter to understand the needs of our community's animals, providing financial resources and advocacy on their behalf. Currently, we are undertaking our biggest mission yet: funding and building a much-needed space for modern programs and enhancing compassionate care for our community’s homeless pets. The current shelter building no longer meets the needs of the many species of animals they care for and does not provide sufficient spaces for the people that work there and the residents they serve.
